ABOUT ME

Sarah Anderson is a senior at Reedy High School participating in the Independent Study and Mentorship program to learn more about criminal defense law. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Sarah moved to Frisco, Texas, and has taken advantage of the many educational opportunities. She became interested in law after taking a class at the CTE center and has strengthened her public speaking skills by participating in Model United Nations, becoming the Head Officer after only one year.

From this year, Sarah plans expand her knowledge of criminal defense law, specifically trial procedure and private practice compared to public defense. With the help of a mentor, Sarah hopes to expand her network and gain opportunities to observe lawyers in the area at work, possibly in an actual trial.
